Info on The AUCTION

The SUPERHERO SERVICE AUCTION was rescheduled for March 2, and we’re starting the FUNdraising in November! Since the dinners and private events are always the most popular items, we encourage everyone to think of how they can contribute something with a social element. It’s about the SERVICES we do for each other. Want to host a party? Grab a couple friends and see how many hands make light work and increase the fun. Or, how about offering a service which many folks can use… carpentry work, accounting help with a tax return, music lessons, landscaping, babysitting or painting services? Not only do we raise money for the Fellowship, but we encourage our members and newcomers to get to know each other better. Everyone can participate!

And to get things started, we’re offering pre-sales in the coming weeks. Here are the rules: 1. Auction Pre-Sales will be held in the Fellowship lobby, after the Sunday services beginning November 11 and ending on December 9, from 12:15-1:00 pm only. No presales will take place during the week. 2. For starters, we’ll have some private parties (ex. The Mimosa/Bloody Mary Brunch hosted by Karen Parker & Ed Woodford on Dec 8, and The Just Because Party hosted by Barbara Gill and Bo Boghani on Feb. 9). The fabulous South Africa trip will be available for bidding and sign-up at those times too. Each event will allow a limited number of guests, and payment will be required at the time of signup. 3. Pre-sales will be allowed only for those present at the time of purchase and for their partner. Pre-sales will continue each week until the event sells out.
