Moral Problem With Economic Inequality

English novelist and essayist Jeannette Winterson recently said, “The bad news is that 85 people control more wealth than the bottom 40 percent of the world’s people. The good news is that there are only 85 of them.” Knowing Ms. Winterson, it’s hard to imagine she’s fantasizing a mass killing. But what is the moral response to so much power lying in so few hands? And do we have any tools with which to change this reality.  (Worship Associate: Steve Compton)
