Presence Through Mindfulness

It has been said that mindfulness is the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. It seems as though this ancient practice is needed more than ever as we are exposed to so much stimulus coming at us in so many ways. How can we stay present in a fast-moving and uncertain world, and what are the benefits of doing so?
