Did you know the largest share of homeless population in South Carolina is in the Upstate? Find out how United Housing Connections, formerly the Upstate Homeless Coalition, has been working together with other agencies for 21 years to provide safe, sustainable and affordable housing. UHC coordinates a continuum of care to fill the gaps in services for homeless and at-risk persons. Using a holistic approach, UHC guides clients toward resources for their specific needs to promote stability and self-sufficiency, and prevent a return to homelessness. Our speaker will be Lorain Crowl, Interim CEO of United Housing Connections. Donations will be accepted at the March 17 Sunday service and via the GUUF office through March 29.
