Join us for our next gathering of the Paris Mountain Chapter of Dining for Women on Monday, November 25, at 6:30 pm. This is our last meeting for 2019. We will resume our monthly meetings in January 2020. Come join us and help us end the year on a high note.
This month’s featured recipient will be the Young Heroes Foundation. Their mission is to support families of AIDS orphans in Swaziland. It empowers Swaziland’s most vulnerable youth and their caretakers so they may achieve their full potential through life-support grants; healthcare; HIV education, prevention, and care programs; educational support; and gender and economic empowerment programs. The project, WORTH: Investing in the Economic Security of Swaziland’s Female Caretakers, alleviates poverty by helping female caregivers (often grandmothers) of orphans and vulnerable children to become financially literate, and by creating the opportunity for them to become micro entrepreneurs.
Our own education is an integral part of the Dining for Women mission: DFW believes that through education, our members become agents of change, capable of altering the face of world poverty one dinner at a time!
Please bring a dish/drink to share, meet old and new friends and learn about the Dining for Women grantee. Your donation (any amount in check or credit card) will go a long way to support these programs. Introduce a friend to DFW – all are welcome!
