Dr. Russell Stall teaches in Clemson University’s City and Regional Planning program; he is a longtime Greenville community leader, former City Council member and Vice Mayor Pro Tem, and a passionate advocate for thoughtful growth and sustainability. He founded Greenville Forward to help shape the county’s Vision 2025 and organized TEDxGreenville, bringing innovative ideas to the region.
With a background spanning business, nonprofit leadership, and urban planning, Dr. Stall brings a broad perspective to community development. He holds an MBA from Emory University and a Ph.D. from Clemson University in Planning, Design, and the Built Environment.
Currently serving as Interim Executive Director of the Greenville County Historical Society, Russell continues to connect Greenville’s past, present, and future through his work.
