Reason and Wonder: The Two Faces of Science – Many people view science as an exercise in factual observation, rigorous analysis, and tightly-reasoned logic – and it is. But a scientific study of the natural world also provides occasions for awe, wonder, and gratitude, responses that some might call expressions of religious emotion.
