When a baby is born, labor begins in its own time. Spring comes when it is ready, buds bursting out before the last hard frost. Jesus’ followers were still brokenhearted and grieving his death when they discovered the empty tomb that pointed them toward his resurrection. Life goes on, one way or another. When faced with this paradox, will we resist or will we celebrate?
