Norman John Brooks, 81, of Greenville, husband of Judith Brooks, died Monday, January 3, 2022.

Born in Kingston, NY, and raised in Ellenville, NY, he was the son of the late Henry and Celia Jones Brooks.
He graduated from Clarkson University and retired from the Gas Turbine Division of General Electric.
Norm loved cross-country skiing and hiking. He took pleasure in searching for wildflowers and had a passion for history, music, travel, and maps. He shared his love of books with friends and family.
In addition to his beloved wife of 58 years, he is survived by his son, James Henry Brooks (Anna); daughter, Amy Brooks Pignato (Tony); and many beloved nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Celia Brooks; his sister, Helen Brooks; and brothers, Robert Brooks, and Donald Brooks.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
