This is the feast day of the three-fold Celtic Goddess, Brighid. It is a fire festival bringing in the end of winter, and preparing the land for the crops. It is a ceremony for the blessing of seeds, including those of our local farmer, Richard Kouyoumjian. (Service associate: Dana Couillard)
