Covid-19 Notice:  We are returning to programming after being online for an extended period of time due to Covid-19.  We have services every week in the Sanctuary and coffee hour following the service.  Please look for notices in the e-news or on the dry erase board in the Narthex about whether or not we have nursery and RE programs available on any given Sunday.  We are short staffed in our volunteer area and have decided to focus our efforts on returning to full programming in the fall.  Please know children and youth are always welcome in our Sanctuary for services or in the Fellowship hall where we live stream the service for those who want more distance.  Masks are required for the Sanctuary and RE classes.

We begin each week in the Sanctuary before being sung out to our RE classes.

Every participant is asked to register for Religious Exploration so we have important information about your child and can best serve their needs.

Middle School Class (Grades 6th – 8th): We use Popcorn Theology, a movie based curriculum exploring values and theology through 20 minute film excerpts, discussions, and activities.

High School Class (Grades 9th – 12th):  We use a variety of curricula to engage our high schoolers in reflecting and discussing values such as anti-oppression, anti-racism, inclusion, equity, love, justice, compassion, and the inherent worth and dignity of every person. Some weeks, our youth engage with materials through media such as film excerpts or select You Tube videos, other weeks we focus on community building games and activities to promote trust and connection so our discussions can be authentic and meaningful.
