Many of these PDF forms will allow you to type into them and save them as new files on your computer. When you click a link to a document, the file will open in a new screen. Different browsers have different icons, but you should be able to download or save a copy of the file to your computer. Once you’ve done that, you will be able to open the document (by double-clicking the file on your computer) using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Some documents will have editable areas highlighted. If your document does not, look for a button in Acrobat Reader labeled “Sign” or “Fill & Sign,” and then “Add Text” (another button) to the appropriate fields. After making changes, be sure to save your file. You can print your document and return it to the proper person, or you can send your edited file by email. (Some documents cannot be edited on the computer and must printed and then filled in manually.)
