24 June: Paris Mt. Dining for Women Chapter

Held monthly on the last Monday (June 24) of the month, Fellowship Hall (112), at 6:30 pm.

This month’s featured recipient will be Kakenya’s Dream. The project is Health and Leadership Training: Empowering Youth Through Education. The purpose of the project is to train 3,500+ youth in sexual and reproductive health and leadership skills, as well as to expand Kakenya’s Dream’s Health and Leadership Training program through a new peer-to -peer component. This project’s focus is on empowering young Maasai girls who are at risk for Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting and early marriage to stay in school, learn about sexual and reproductive health, child rights, and life skills through girlcentered programming. Our own education is an integral part of the Dining for Women mission: DFW believes that through education, our members become agents of change, capable of altering the face of world poverty one dinner at a time!

Please bring a dish/drink to share, meet old and new friends and learn about the Dining for Women grantees.

Your donation (any amount in check or credit card) will augment all the others made.
