Please join us for the next gathering of the Paris Mountain Chapter of Dining for Women on Monday, June 25 at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall (Room 112). This month’s featured recipient will be a beekeeping initiative with Haiti Projects, an organization in Haiti which empowers women by providing access to jobs, family planning services, education and avenues to build community. The purpose of this project is to break gender stereotypes in Haiti, to create incomegenerating activities, to foster women-run businesses and promote environmental stewardship – all through beekeeping. For more information see haitiprojects.org.
The Paris Mountain Dining for Women chapter was started in January of 2018. We have had wonderful events since the beginning of the year with many attendees sharing delicious meals. During our monthly meetings, we learn how groups of women in the world are fighting poverty with the help of DFW grants. So if the idea of savoring a good meal, and building relationships in a nice and relaxing setting appeals to you, then please come and join us! We thank everyone who has joined us so far to make this a successful chapter – all are welcome! Please RSVP to Paris Mountain Dining for women chapter in Facebook, or to Letitia Short at letitia174@gmail.
Please bring something to eat or drink to share. Remember, Dining for Women is changing the world one dinner at a time with our donations.
