What’s Happening in Children’s and Youth Religious Exploration
THREE MONDAY NIGHT PARENTING CONVERSATIONS
Join us in the downstairs RE Common Area, 6-8 pm, on the following dates for parenting conversations about developing youngsters and being a UU parent. It’s a Potluck so please bring food to share!
EACH CLASS FOCUSES ON A DIFFERENT AGE GROUP (registration required):
• Monday, October 28: Parenting children 3-10 years
• Monday, November 4: Parenting the tweens–Middle School
• Monday, November 11: Parenting Teenagers
Activities for children available during the workshops.
What does success look like?
How do we meet challenges?
How do our UU values inform our parenting decisions?
What are the best things we can do to make sure our children grow up as confident and compassionate free thinkers?
Dr. Ron Reece is a well known (and loved) psychologist and family therapist who has facilitated workshops and conversations like these for area schools and civic organizations for over 30 years. His gentle humor and practical good sense are sure to please.

Youth Group Meeting for Middle School and Senior High Youth

Become a Storyteller and work with our elementary age children. Learn how to play with the toys. Ask wondering questions. Talk to the children while they are “working.” It’s a lot of fun, and meaningful for you AND the children.

We need to hire more childcare helpers for the nursery!
