National Geographic recently named the Jocassee Gorges one of “50 of the World’s Last Great Places – Destinations of a Lifetime.” And it’s just an hour from Greenville! Join us on Saturday, October 26, 2:30-5:30pm, for a leisurely tour of the lake by pontoon boat. The Autumn colors should be at or near peak, and migrating birds will be passing overhead. Our guides will be certified naturalists, pointing out the features of this highly biodiverse region and describing its history. The tour will take us to a rain forest on the South Carolina side, and we’ll see waterfalls.

RSVP to Bo Boghani no later than October 5, with the fee of $40 per person. There’s also an entry fee to Devils Fork State Park where the boat dock is located. We can take a maximum of 28 people (children welcome). Unfortunately, the trip fee is non-refundable if you need to cancel, but it is transferable.
