Our 2020 GUUF Super Hero Auction is just around the corner on February 22, 2020!  This year, we’re trying something different! All our fun parties, events and the African Safari will be available online for pre-sales. Are you willing to host this year? It could be a great dinner, hikes, bike ride, picnic, boat outing or something else you’d like to offer our membership. Don’t want to host by yourself?  Let us know and we’ll help you find someone to join up with!

Our Super Hero Auction is one of GUUF’s major fundraisers.  It takes a tremendous amount of support from everyone to make this event a success.  Offering your time, and/or your home, to host an event allows you to make contribution to theFellowship.  Our fundraisers are a large part of why we can run the excellent programs and classes we have at GUUF. Why we’re able to get wonderful speakers and musicians for Sunday Services, and contribute to the wider community through our social justice activities. We’re counting on you! If you’d rather hold an event at the Fellowship, we can help. So, come on folks, let’s make this auction the best ever!

Here’s what we need:

1.  The date, time and location of your event (if you’re interested in using a Fellowship space, check the calendar to see what dates/times are available, then contact the office to get a confirmation).

2.  A name and description of your event that will grab the attention of attendees (we can use a previous description if you’ve hosted in prior years).

3.  The maximum number of people you are able to host.

4.  The minimum value you place on your event (this amount may be amended by the Ways and Means Committee if needed).

If you’re unable to host an event, but would like to assist on the committee to prepare for the Super Hero Auction, please let us know! We can always use your energy and ideas!  Email wandm@greenvilleuu.org, we need you!

The Ways & Means Committee thanks you in advance for your support of this important fundraising event for GUUF.  We can still use lots of help on the Committee if you are willing to commit some time to this great cause!
