Weekend Intensive FEBRUARY 28-29, 2020, followed by eight small group workshops.
WILL YOU BE A PART OF THIS CHALLENGING AND ENLIGHTENING PROGRAM?
Beloved Conversations explores the roles of race and ethnicity in individual and congregational life. Developed by the Fahs Collaborative for UU Congregations at Meadville Lombard Seminary, Beloved Conversations recognizes how centuries of racially-informed social, emotional, economic, and spiritual practices wound every person, no matter their background. Nested in the healing and deep work of faith formation, each participant has opportunities to reckon with how both their personal and group experiences matter and, when negative outcomes are named, how to live and act in a spirit of reconciliation that brings growth and spiritual healing. Look for Beloved Conversations alumni at coffee hour, and ask them why it matters. (You will know them by their badges.)
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TRAINING, AND placements are limited.
